Dublin and Kerry

Traditional music, culinary excellence and adventures along the Wild Atlantic Way

Delegates walk along the beach
One of Ireland’s unique selling points is the ability to provide completely unique and unforgettable experiences – from singalongs in quaint Irish pubs to tours of ancient cathedrals. This high-budget luxury experience is designed for groups of 50 people or more and features a range of authentic activities, delivered within a five star framework. From the buzz of Dublin city to the remote beauty of Kerry, this five-day programme will win hearts and minds.

Day One

Atmospheric kayaking and dinner in an iconic cathedral

A banquet in Christchurch Cathedral

You gain a different perspective on a city from the viewpoint of its rivers – and that’s where this extraordinary itinerary will begin in Dublin. Guests will hit the ground kayaking on a trail along the River Liffey under the capital’s historic series of bridges, while some of the city’s best musicians take advantage of incredible under-bridge acoustics.

After this atmospheric afternoon, guests will enjoy a well-earned gourmet meal and experience an authentic Irish delicacy as they learn how to make their very own Irish coffee.

As evening approaches, guests will return to their luxurious five star hotel to prepare for a welcome dinner at Dublin’s iconic Christchurch Cathedral, the oldest working structure in Dublin and steeped in history —the perfect backdrop to a memorable evening.

Day Two

Food, fashion and culture at Trinity College

Trinity College, Dublin

Start the day by exploring the cornucopia of food and fashion that Dublin has to offer. While following a food trail through the heart of the city, the group will also visit the world-famous Book of Kells in the peaceful surrounds of Trinity College.

Continuing the foodie theme, one of Dublin’s many fine eateries will host that evening’s dinner, allowing guests to experience the very best of Irish gourmet food.

Live entertainment will also be on hand to liven up the night.

Day Three

Five star hospitality along the Wild Atlantic Way

A jaunting car in the Gap of Dunloe

After two unforgettable Dublin days, the group will travel to Killarney in County Kerry. Though Killarney is just 3.5 hours from Dublin, a stop at the historic Rock of Cashel in Tipperary will break up the journey and give guests a chance to soak up some history.

Nestled on Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way, Killarney is the perfect base for exploring the iconic attractions and spectacular scenery along the west coast. On arrival, the group will visit the Gap of Dunloe – location of exciting jaunting car tours – where a gourmet picnic will be provided along with traditional tales, legends and folklore.

The group will retire to one of Killarney’s picturesque five star hotels to experience the warm hospitality that is typical of locals. Evening dinner will be hosted on-site with atmospheric accompaniment provided by a classical harpist.

Day 4

Breath-taking scenery alongside Irish masterclasses

The mountains of Killarney, County Kerry
The morning will offer a breath of fresh air as guests take in the awe-inspiring scenery of Killarney National Park while hiking or biking on a custom-built tour.

For a truly authentic evening activity, guests will visit Muckross Traditional Farms to get a taste for life in rural Ireland; this special place offers interactive traditional Irish demonstrations, good food and even better entertainment.

Accompanying their traditional Irish dinner, guests will see demonstrations of Irish cultural attractions such as basket weaving, turf staking and butter-making, while authentic traditional Irish music will entertain as dinner continues through the night.

Day 5

Wild Atlantic adventures and a traditional night cap

Aerial view of Skellig Michael

Day Five will will be dedicated to discovering the further-afield delights of the Kingdom of Kerry and the Wild Atlantic Way. Should they opt to, guests can visit Skellig Michael, where they’ll explore the lives of the monks who previously lived on this rugged island, now home to puffins — and even the occasional Star Wars character.

For the final night of this fabulous itinerary, guests will savour that evening’s private dinner in quaint Killarney Town. Afterwards they’ll enjoy a celebratory night cap at JM Reidy’s — an old-fashioned Irish pub that offers the very best of traditional Irish music, with the best Guinness in town.

There is no better way to end this once-in-a-lifetime trip to Ireland.

Saying goodbye to Ireland

On the final day, convenient transfers will be organised to Shannon, Kerry or Dublin Airports, where the group will part ways with many wonderful memories to take home.
