The Animation Dingle Festival, founded by Maurice Galway and John Rice of JAM Media, takes place every year but obviously, holding it in March 2021 meant that it was the first year in which the COVID-19 pandemic would have an impact. Instead of rescheduling or postponing the event, the unique Kerry-Dublin team pivoted and adapted to create a wholly virtual festival this year. And it was an incredibly successful virtual festival at that.
