The ability to provide an entire package — from entertainment and experiences, to transport — is the mark of an experienced Destination Management Company (DMC). When Australia-based Creative Incentives approached Irish DMC Ovation Ireland with a plan for a high-end incentive programme, the ambitious brief included transfers, tours, evening entertainment, gala dinners and welcome receptions split between Dublin and Kerry.
The client was Isuzu Winners Circle, who would be bringing 200 guests to Ireland for a luxury experience to span 8 days. Five star hotels and venues were required throughout, with Dublin’s Shelbourne Hotel and Killarney’s Europe Hotel chosen as the accommodation for their style and world-class facilities. A welcome evening was organised in the Mangerton Suite in the Europe, while guests also enjoyed glamorous evenings at Dublin’s Guinness Storehouse and the Parisien-style Café en Seine.
A key element of the brief was the many cultural and ancestral connections between the U.S and Ireland. Ovation Ireland was able to showcase the history of Ireland, its stunning natural landscape and traditional culture and seamlessly blend them into the incentive activities. During the incentive, Isuzu guests explored the rugged coastline of the Wild Atlantic Way, and discovered the historical landmarks of Ireland’s Ancient East, absorbing a range of local, authentic experiences.
Around 200 guests experienced a variety of experiences and activities across two locations in Ireland — client feedback showed that they were particularly impressed with the level of professionalism offered throughout their stay. The positive, energised approach of Ovation Ireland was also noted, as was their ability to exceed expectations along the way.
