Situated in the village of Ballsbridge on a forty-two acre site, the RDS Venue has successfully hosted many International conferences in recent years. The RDS Venue has 10 multi-purpose conference and exhibition halls, an outdoor stadium, several concert venues, meeting rooms, bars, restaurants and over 2,000 onsite car parking spaces.
Our expert staff can provide critical support to conference organisers and are especially skilled in demonstrating how different combinations of halls or rooms can facilitate any scale or format of event. Often this flexibility is key to the success of a major event. Hall 1 can accommodate up to 4,500 theatre style and the Concert Hall, with retractable tiered seating, provides a superb plenary space for up to 1,000 delegates, while Hall 8 (Simmonscourt) can seat up to 6,500 delegates. The Minerva Suite is ideal as a breakout room for up to 120 delegates. This stunning Suite has played host to some of the most spectacular dining events in the city. The newly refurbished Concert Hall is perfect for up to 450 guests, while the Main Hall has catered for up to 4,500 guests in a buffet style set up. The Industries Hall has magnificent stone walls and a wonderful wooden vaulted ceiling dating back to the 1850’s and can lend to create an incredible backdrop for clients to experience a very unique dining experience.
