Business Tourism Monitor Research
In 2009, Fáilte Ireland commissioned Ipsos MRBI to carry out a Business Tourism Monitor over a three year period. This study is specifically designed and dedicated to the International ‘MICE’ Tourism (Meetings, Incentive Trips, Conferences and Exhibitions) market.
This Business Tourism Monitor has been established in order to provide Failte Ireland with a deeper level of understanding and insight into the performance and value of international association, conferences, corporate meetings, incentives and exhibitions.
The Business Tourism Monitor consists of two parts:
Suppliers Survey - which involves collecting information on international MICE events from our Irish Trade (or ‘suppliers’) involved in the promotion of Irish tourism e.g. hotels, venues, PCO, etc.
2010 Business Tourism Monitor Executive Summary
Delegates Survey - which aims to gather feedback on out-of-pocket expenditure directly from the international attendees at such events.
