The professionalism of a selection of Ireland’s conference industry professionals and venues were recognised at the third Event Industry Awards at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin this month.
The industry award winners were based on the votes from a judging panel of events industry experts in Ireland. Awards judge, Gerard O’Neill, Chairman of Amárach Research said, “there may be a shortage of cash in the market right now but there’s clearly no famine when it comes to killer ideas. This year’s submissions showed that in a time where budgets are tight, the idea is king.”
Winners of the awards included:
- Best Professional Conference Organiser: Conference Partners
- Best Large Event Venue: The Convention Centre Dublin (CCD)
- Best Conference Event Venue: Croke Park Conference Centre

Conference Partners received the prestigious accolade based on their full service management of the Globe Forum Conference in the CCD.
