Day One


  • Arrive into Cork Train Station


  • Pick up by coach


  • Lunch in Farm Gate CafĂ© English Market followed by a walk through the market with a local food expert – this was where the Queen visited in May and we can follow in her footsteps!


  • Guided walk through Cork City, ending up at the French Quarter where we meet our driver and coach for a short journey to University College Cork (UCC).


  • Walking Tour of UCC’s spectacular grounds – viewing the Aula Maxima which can seat up to 180 for dinner in the stone quadrangle of UCC.


  • Visit to Cork City Gaol – a former prison where we will meet with Elizabeth the owner and also meet the resident ghost…this is a fantastic atmospheric venue for up to 150 seated guests. Everything from gala dinners to product launches to cocktail receptions can be catered for here and the grounds are perfect for outdoor entertainment.


  • Coach takes us to the pretty coastal village of Monkstown where we will board the Sea Safari high speed rib boat and head for Kinsale Town and Harbour.


  • Alight the Sea Safari at the Trident Hotel private pier – where we will be welcomed with a warm drink by the General Manager. The 4 * Trident Hotel is a landmark in Kinsale and can cater for up to 200 guests for dinner in the Pier One restaurant overlooking the sea.


  • Short walking tour through the cobbled streets of Kinsale Town stopping at the Giles Norman Gallery.


  • Dinner in one of Kinsale’s Gourmet restaurants


  • Depart Kinsale for 5 star Castlemartyr Hotel in East Cork
    Travel Time: 45m


  • Arrive in Castlemartyr and a nightcap before a well earned night’s sleep

Day Two


  • Depart Castlemartyr after a sumptuous breakfast and a walk around the grounds with the 2 resident Irish Setter dogs.


  • Pottery workshop at the Stephen Pearce Gallery in the artisan village of Shanagarry.


  • A mile or so away from Stephen Pearce we will have morning coffee and scones at the world renowned Ballymaloe Country House and Grain Store in the heart of East Cork countryside. The Grain Store has a capacity for up to 200 guests seated over the ground floor and mezzanine floor. This venue is also perfect for conferences and meetings in a country side, peaceful setting.


  • Next up a tour, whiskey tasting and lunch at the Jameson Distillery in the town of Midleton in East Cork. The Distillery is home to the famous ‘Shindig’ Night. Up to 180 guests can be seated in 1 room or over 250 if spread over 2 rooms. The new Warehouse in the grounds of the Distillery is now also available for evening events as is the Distliller’s cottage for smaller high end private dinners.


  • Visit to Cobh the last port of call of the Titanic where we are met by the Titanic Trail Walking Tour


  • Depart Cobh for Cork Airport
