The client, an international energy company, sent a tender to three European city convention bureaus including Dublin, requesting proposals from DMCs to organise their second international meeting. The brief was very specific as the client wanted the conference venue, hotel and gala dinner venue all within a five-minute walking distance of each other.

Custom Ireland were chosen via the Dublin Convention Burueau, in early 2009 to assist in a number of substantial areas for this annual conference of the European Dialysis and Transplant Nurses Association with the European Renal Care Association. Czech-In, a Prague based PCO, has been the conference organiser for the past two terms.

Diageo Brazil needed to create a unique and exclusive incentive for key distributers and clients. Custom Ireland were the chosen DMC to provide this service for Diageo Brazil in Ireland. Custom Ireland's brief was to design and implement a luxury incentive programme over 6 days incorporating company brands, top-class accommodation, transport and touring options. The programme options had to be available over three consecutive weeks for three incentive groups.

Custom Ireland coordinated the Abbott Nutrition meetings at the Ritz Carlton Powerscourt over five days which more than eighty delegates from over 40 countries attended. Local DMC knowledge and assistance was requested by the Abbott meeting & event planner based in the US.
During the event the Abbott organiser had to return to the States at short notice and Custom Ireland assumed a more hands-on management role for the remainder of the meeting.

The Conference Committee’s objective was to provide an exceptional scientific programme supported by a strong and motivational social programme.

The 16th European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS) is the largest and most prestigious Information Systems Conference in Europe.
The conference began on June 8th with a welcome reception and pre conference registration and continued until June 11th. It featured 213 papers, 6 panel discussions and 2 keynote speakers. The main objective of the social programme was to provide delegates with an unforgettable, enjoyable and memorable experience of Irish Culture and the “Galway experience”.
