Teams of Irish trade representatives are visiting France and Germany to give incentive trip and conference organisers valuable insight into why Ireland is a world-class destination
A mixture of incentive trip and conference organisers in France and Germany will be given the opportunity to meet an Irish team face-to-face this week.
Our offices in France and Germany are holding sales blitzes this week, where our local staff and the Irish trade meet with local buyers at their offices.
Face-to-face encounters
Members of the Meet in Ireland France team along with a destination management company (DMC) will be meeting incentive trip and conference organisers in the Lille greater region and Paris.
Further to the east, the Meet in Ireland Germany team will be joined by representatives from Wallace Travel, Killarney Hotels and Druids Glen.
Munich an influential region
“Following on from the great response and high level of interest in Ireland in Hamburg and Berlin, we are hoping to have as much interest in Munich. With major companies such as BMW, Siemens AG, MAN AG, Linde and insurance giant Allianz headquartered there, it is a very influential region in the German market. It is also a centre for biotechnology and software and it is with these industries and companies in mind that we will take the mission to Munich,” says John Costelloe of Meet in Ireland Germany.
Meetings a regular occurrence
Meet in Ireland regularly facilitates meetings between the Irish trade and potential buyers on a one-to-one basis as well as through networking opportunities across Europe and the US.
